ZooBieDoo Infotech builds and maintains software for organisations that depend on it. We are based at Bishop Lefroy Road in Kolkata and work with clients across India and internationally.
Who we are
Built around delivery, not around a sales process
ZooBieDoo Infotech is an engineering and design consultancy. We build web platforms and Drupal sites, mobile applications, custom software, cloud infrastructure and data systems — and then we stay involved for the maintenance, security updates and changes that follow, because that is where most of a system's life is spent.
We work the way we do because of a pattern most people in this industry recognise: capable teams delivering the wrong thing competently, because nobody was willing to say early enough that the plan was wrong. Our process is built to surface that early, in writing, while it is still cheap to change.
Practically, that means a short discovery phase before anything is committed, working software in production early rather than at the end, decisions recorded so they can be reviewed, and a handover plan from day one.

Say the difficult thing early
Bad news does not improve with age. Problems reach the people who can act on them quickly, in writing, with options attached.
Recommend against ourselves when it is right
Sometimes the correct answer is to buy rather than build, to keep an existing supplier, or not to proceed. We would rather say so than win the work.
Write it down
Architecture decisions, trade-offs, incident reviews and handover plans exist as documents. Knowledge that lives only in someone's head is a risk we price out deliberately.
Leave clients independent
Every engagement has a defined exit. A client taking work in-house because we prepared them to is the engagement working, not failing.

We complete supplier security questionnaires as part of onboarding and are happy to work to your organisation's own policies and review processes.
Where we are
Kolkata, working with clients anywhere
Our office is in central Kolkata. Delivery is remote-first with regular scheduled contact, and we agree working-hours overlap at the start of every engagement.
